The World's Largest Ancient Stone Buddha Chengdu was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our China tour. As the capital of Sichuan Province in western China, this vibrant city is often called the "Land of Abundance" or the "Country of Heaven" because of its rich history, fertile landscape and relaxed lifestyle. After spending time there, we completely understood why. Chengdu was one of the most beautiful and enjoyable cities we visited in China. Our kids were especially excited about visiting Chengdu because it's world famous as the home of the adorable giant pandas.
