In Beijing, you can find a wealth of history, both ancient and modern. In North East of central Beijing, there is a most famous landscaped garden with interesting traditional buildings, Summer Palace situated in Haidian District. It was an imperial garden in the ancient era for royalty. But today it is a retreat for everyone who travel busy and noisy Beijing environment.
